New Arrivals
New Arrivals
This is where everything new appears first β freshly restocked favourites, products we are introducing for the first time and seasonal additions that reflect what is happening in Japanese kitchenware right now. We update the store regularly with pieces sourced directly from Japan, working with both established manufacturers and smaller artisan producers, and new arrivals represent the most current selection of what we have found and chosen to bring to the store.
The range of what arrives here is deliberately broad, reflecting the full scope of Japanese kitchen and dining culture. In a single week it might include a new cast iron frying pan from Iwachu, a set of hand-thrown yunomi cups from a Mino kiln, a seasonal ceramic from a Hasami designer, a pour-over coffee tool from a specialty brand and a peeler from Shimomura that has just been updated with a new blade geometry. We do not filter arrivals by category or restrict the selection to any single aesthetic β if something is well-made, genuinely useful and represents what Japanese kitchenware can be at its best, it belongs here.
Checking the new arrivals section regularly is the best way to see what is fresh in the catalog before specific items sell out, particularly for seasonal pieces and limited production runs from artisan makers. Some of the products here are available in small quantities and may not be restocked after the initial batch, so acting early tends to pay off.
If you are looking for something specific and cannot find it in the main collections, this is also a good place to check β newly added products appear here before they are fully categorised and may not yet appear in all relevant collections.
